![]() In the Hi-Tech Chest treasure pool, Tech Treasure x1 and Tech Treasure x2 both have a weight of 0.4 while Tech Treasure x3 has a weight of 0.2. If a particular reward has the biggest weight of all random rewards in a sub-pool, it will be picked most often when the sub-pool is called. The weight is the relative likelihood of that particular reward being given when its sub-pool is called. Tech Treasure is an example of a random reward - it can either be given once, twice, or three times when the 0 sub-pool is called.Įvery random reward in a given sub-pool of a treasure pool has a Weight assigned to it. Either the reward type or reward quantity can vary. Random Rewards, unlike guaranteed rewards, are not always given when the parent sub-pool is called.Valuable Tech Treasure is an example of a guaranteed reward. On the wiki, this is indicated by the phrase Always Appears, taking up one or two columns of the table in a given row. Guaranteed Rewards are always given in the same way when the parent sub-pool is called.Within each sub-pool is a list of possible rewards. On this wiki, treasure pools with more than one sub-pool will have each sub-pool listed as a separate table (see Tool (treasure) for an example). The Hi-Tech Chest treasure pool has only one sub-pool, and it has a tier index of 0 - that is, the same sub-pool is used regardless of planetary difficulty. ![]() If multiple sub-pools with different tier indices are present within a treasure pool, the treasure pool only uses the sub-pool with the highest tier index that is still smaller than or equal to the current planetary difficulty. This tier index represents the minimum planetary difficulty required for the parent treasure pool to use the attached sub-pool. Second, all treasure pools have Sub-Pools within the main pool.Įach sub-pool is indexed with a Tier Index. For this treasure pool, the name given is Hi-Tech Chest (its internal name, not listed here, is different). Below is a representation of an actual treasure pool pulled from the game's assets - aspects of it will be referenced later as the explanation proceeds.įirst of all, every treasure pool has a name. See our list of admin commands for more commands. The working unit in the world of treasure is the Treasure Pool. To toggle admin mode off, all you need to do is type /admin again. This will toggle admin mode on (granting you access to admin commands). On single player, and servers that do not have admin commands blocked for everyone, you can enable admin mode by entering /admin into the chat. Some servers have disabled access to admin commands for all users - on these servers, it is not possible to get access to admin commands without the admins of those servers explicitly granting you access. Admin commands require a user to have admin mode enabled before they have access. This is because timewarp is an admin command, and on a random server you would not be an admin. If you were to join a random server and attempt to run the command /timewarp 60 (the timewarp command moves time forward) nothing would happen. In that command, the arguments would be 'eyesword' and '2'. Without these arguments, the command wouldn't know what item and what amount to give you.Īrguments are separated by spaces, so to use the spawnitem command to spawn, say, 2 Oculus Reavers (which has an item ID of 'eyesword'), you'd use the command /spawnitem eyesword 2. You may see the word "argument" being mentioned a lot on our commands list - an argument is simply a parameter, or extra piece of information you give to a command so that the game knows what to do.įor example, the spawnitem command's syntax is /spawnitem - in this example, and are arguments. After doing so, you will be sent a message with some information including your username and whether or not you're an admin. To open the chat, press ENTER on your keyboard, then type /whoami in chat and hit ENTER again. This paragraph takes you through the /whoami command as an example. All commands start with a / (forward slash). Unlike other games, Starbound doesn't have a console to type commands into - all you have to do is type them into chat.
